Trump administration uses ICE shooting to threaten political retaliation

  • A day after an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer shot a Minneapolis mother dead, the Trump administration has portrayed her as a domestic terrorist and used the incident to threaten retaliation against their political opponents.

DEMOCRACY FOOTNOTES

  • The DOJ's next attempt to prosecute James, the New York attorney general, may involve looking at payments she made to — wait for it — her longtime hairdresser, the New York Times reported.

  • Trump called on GOP lawmakers yesterday to pass the SAVE Act, but said he wants to change the name to the “SAVE AMERICA Act.”
