Our democracy is on the brink, and the courts are pushing it over the edge. Over the last few weeks, in case after case, courts at every level have come down on the wrong side of the fight. Conservative justices are rushing opinions to benefit Republicans, ignoring precedent to hurt Black voters, and making decisions before they even hear the argument. Our courts are the last line of defense to protect defense — and it’s clear that defense has fallen.
