Donald Trump wants Republicans in Congress to enact the largest voter suppression bill in American history. He is not hiding what he wants. He is not seeking compromise. Instead, he is turning the screws on Senate leadership to do exactly what he demands.
If the only thing you knew about the SAVE America Act came from legacy media, you might think I am exaggerating the risks. After all, when I warned everyone that Trump would try to subvert the outcome of the 2020 election, the legacy media cried “exaggeration,” too.

Even on paper, the SAVE America Act is a terrible bill.
