Florida Senate passes version of SAVE America Act requiring proof of citizenship to register and remain on state voter rolls

Republican group Virginians for Fair Maps reported receiving $2.5 million from… themselves. We called them today and asked about that. They hung up on us. 🤔
When the DOJ sued Oregon for its unredacted voter roll data, the department never filed a motion to compel production of records as it did in most other similar cases. The only motions before the court were to dismiss, so even if the DOJ succeeds on the appeal, the case would just be sent back to the trial court for further proceedings. Womp womp.
Pro-voting groups filed their response in Mississippi's mail-in ballot receipt deadline challenge. Here’s a cheeky highlight from their argument: Respondents cannot even agree on how military-overseas voters are treated under their theory, a question on which the outcome of the 2000 presidential election turned. In Harris v. Florida Elections Canvassing, the Republican National Committee says military-overseas ballots, too, must be received by election day. Apparently, Gore won.
